BB’S Gelateria was born from love – for family, for community, and for the women who shape us.
Founded by Stacy Williams, BB’s is named in honor of two beloved matriarchs: Betty, her grandmother, and Beatrice, the mother of her fiancé, Louis. Though they are no longer with us, Betty and Beatrice’s warmth and spirit live on in every scoop.

Stacy bought BB's (formerly Gelato Del Centro) in December 2024. Prior to that, she spent most of her career — and personal life — as a dedicated community organizer, fighting for projects and initiatives related to diversity, equity, and inclusion. Stacy has worked alongside educators, youth, nonprofit organizations, mutual aid groups, and her neighbors to advocate for the rights of local community members and the improvement and investment of the neighborhoods they call home.

This passion for serving others guides Stacy's leadership as a small business owner. She sees her shop as more than just a gelateria; she has intentionally created a welcoming third space built to celebrate all walks of life. BB's serves as a gathering place for downtown events like Art Hop (where the shop has featured everyone from youth artists to Fresno poet laureate, Aideed Medina). Stacy has also fostered community buy-in for collective aid, including the shop's recent "Share a Scoop" fundraiser for those furloughed during the government shutdown, and a donation drive for those who lost their SNAP benefits in November 2025. BB's doors are open to everyone, even if you just need a place to charge your phone or use the free WiFi.

When she's not working (which is rare these days) Stacy enjoys traveling with her ever-supportive partner, Louis.
